The brief
Chloe was opening a clinic in Feock, a village outside Truro, and needed what any new business needs on day one: a site that explained two treatments people are nervous about, priced them openly, and made booking a consultation straightforward.
There was nothing to build on. No brand presence, no traffic, no local listings. Design and build first, then the slower job of getting a brand new domain seen in a county where people search by town.
The approach
The site was built around the two treatments that pay for the clinic, with prices published rather than hidden behind an enquiry form, and a consultation and patch test path that matches how the treatments actually work.
Once it was live the work moved to search, and that is where it has stayed. Rockhopper runs the whole engagement: technical fixes, content, local SEO and the reporting, implemented directly on the site rather than handed over as recommendations.
The outcome
UK clicks are on a clear upward trend, with the three most recent weeks outperforming the previous ten weeks combined and average position improving alongside them.
Indexation was the fix that moved the needle. Pages Google had never fetched now compete for the treatment and town searches the clinic depends on, and the treatment pages earn visibility in their own right instead of everything landing on the homepage.
The reporting rebuild matters more than it sounds. More than 80 per cent of recorded impressions were automated scraping, mostly US price comparison agents, so the headline figures flattered the site badly. Stripping them out leaves a genuine UK number the clinic can make decisions on.
