The brief
Bora Studio runs reformer pilates in several formats, from back to basics through to half cadillac, pregnancy classes and one-to-one sessions, alongside osteopathy and massage. Newcomers to reformer often do not know which class they belong in, and booking the wrong one puts them off coming back.
The studio is small and personal, and the site needed to feel that way rather than like a gym chain. Booking happens through the studio's own scheduling system and app, so the website's job was to explain, reassure and hand over cleanly. Matt Ollive designed it. Rockhopper Digital built it.
The approach
Each class format gets a proper description: what happens, who it suits and what to expect the first time. From there the route into booking is a single step. Osteopathy and massage sit as separate services with their own booking paths, so neither gets lost inside a general class timetable.
The design is calm and image-led, and we built it as a custom theme so the spacing and typography survive contact with real content. The studio app is promoted where it helps regulars, without getting in the way of a first-time visitor who simply wants to try a class and see how it goes.
The outcome
New clients can work out which class suits them and book it in one move.
